As part of our Intergenerational Housing Learning Network, Generations United is spotlighting different intergenerational housing initiatives around the country. The first program we are profiling is One Flushing, a 10-story, complex with 231 units designed as an intergenerational residential project in the Queens neighborhood of Flushing in New York City. The project is a partnership of Monadnock Development, Asian Americans for Equality (AAFE), and The Hellenic Neighborhood Action Committee (HANAC). Be sure to read the profile and visit AAFE’s website to learn more about this exciting project.
