Best Intergenerational Communities 2016

Generations United and MetLife Foundation are pleased to honor two extraordinary, age-optimized communities with the 2016 Best Intergenerational Communities Awards.

The City of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and the Eastman Community Association of Grantham, New Hampshire are harnessing the energy and increasing the productivity that results when people of all ages come together. Recognizing changing demographics, these communities are effectively engaging, serving, and honoring all generations as they advance policies and practices that stimulate cooperation and collaboration.

We are also pleased to acknowledge the City of Coral Springs, Florida as a national finalist for the award. We are impressed by the commitment of this community to intentionally connect the generations and we will follow and celebrate their continued growth and progress in the future.
