Generations United is now accepting nominations for the Awards Program at our 23rd Global Intergenerational Conference, happening June 25–27, 2025, in Louisville, KY!
This year, we are celebrating outstanding contributions, visionary leadership, and innovative approaches within intergenerational and grandfamilies programs—and we want YOU to be part of the excitement. Whether you are a dedicated volunteer, a trailblazing leader, or a hidden champion, this is your opportunity to be recognized for your hard work and passion.

We are accepting nominations for the following awards:
- Outstanding Older Adult Volunteer Award
- Outstanding Youth Volunteer Award
- Grandfamilies Award
- Intergenerational Innovation Award
The award-winners will receive:
- Physical Award
- Two complimentary banquet tickets
- National recognition through a press release, Generations United e-alert, and acknowledgment on Generations United’s website
Generations United will present the award during its 23rd Global Intergenerational Conference, June 25-27, 2025, in Louisville, KY. Honorees must be present to accept the award and provide photos reflecting their work if selected.
The awards committee relies solely upon the information provided by the nominator to inform its selection, so please make sure to answer all questions. Nominators may be contacted for additional information.
The award nomination deadline is March 7, 2025, at 11:45 P.M. ET. All applications will receive notification in mid-April 2025.
