Sheri Steinig

As Director, Strategic Initiatives & Communications, Sheri is responsible for leading Generations United’s ongoing efforts to promote and support the development of intergenerational programs.  She develops resources and provides training and technical assistance to practitioners around the country in strengthening intergenerational initiatives. Sheri has over 25 years of experience in intergenerational programs and community service efforts. She worked at Intergenerational Innovations in Seattle, Washington where she developed, implemented, and evaluated a variety of different school and community-based intergenerational programs.  Sheri received her Masters of Social Work degree from Boston College with concentrations in macro-practice and gerontology.
