As the Assistant Director for the Grandfamilies & Kinship Support Network: A National Technical Assistance Center at Generations United, Melissa is responsible for helping to manage the Network and implement its workplan. Melissa has over 20 years of experience in non-profit management. Prior to joining Generations United, Melissa was the Administrator at the Family Focused Treatment Association where she managed the operations of a national association of 500 child and family serving agencies. There she served as grant manager for a demonstration project to pilot kinship therapeutic foster care, which fueled her passion for improving services and supports for grandfamilies and other kinship families.
